    Freaking out....

    I love this site however the more I read the more freaked out I get! I'm a nervous wreck about this BK. My husbad and I just filed yesterday and it seems I have way more questions now then I did when we started. Student loans...I'm still in school but I have around 28K in student loans deferred while I'm in school....am I going to have to start paying those??

    Also what is PACER? What things can I find in there? If we just filed yesterday when should I look or should I look??

      i don't think anything happens with your student loans. they don't get discharged and you will have to pay them according to the agreements you've made with the holders of the loans.

        The BK should not affect the student loans and it should not affect you getting more if you need it.
        Try doing a search HHM had commented on a thread with a similar question.
