Yikes! What happened to the money DRA was taking out of your account? What a nightmare!
Sounds like you are on the right track now though! Good Luck!
I am just hoping the Chpt 7 filing goes through. We a $23.44 to the good of Chpt 7 right now with out the the business expenses. They will add another $2250+ in expenses over the current number.

Josh, I would be peed off with the Credit fixing company and address them in small claims. Now that is just me. I don’t think you have a problem as you are classic in bk language. You need relief and you have an opportunity. Above all, from what you said, you have a good attorney. This sure is rare from what I have seen.
It is a pleasure to see a young man as you, recognize what needs to be done. Stick around here and you will get NO LEGAL AID, but many experiences, as well as encouragement. This place is blessed. ‘HubIf I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.

Met with the attorney today to go over My wife and mine's petition for Chpt7. We made the means test. The software he uses to submit the petition and the do the means test showed us as a no asset Chpt 7 case. It will be filied by the end of today.
10-28-2008. I filed for Chpt 7 on my 28th Birthday. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The attorney told me to be on the look out for a letter with our court date for the 341 meeting next week. Then told us the after the 341 meeting and credit counesling to look for Discharge papers in the mail within 5-6 weeks.
It has been a stressful chapter in my life. I feel like a huge weight is being lifted off my shoulders though.
I will keep everyone posted over the next several weeks as to the progress that is made.

Update for today.
My 341 meeting is scheduled for Dec. 19 @ 3pm. The attorney was pleased with the assigned trustee. Told me that it would take only 30 minutes tops and we would be done, and I had nothing to worry about.
I am glad to say I am right around the corner to being done with this and on my way to financial freedom and reconstruction.

I am new to the forum and I am considering filing - I live in Kentucky and was wondering if this is where you filed. Only reason I ask is b/c of the KY in your name. If you would rather not say, no problem, if yes, I was wondering if you could recommend an attorney (assuming we were in the same area).
