How much were/are your attorney fees for filing CH 7?

I am wondering what everyone else here is paying their attorneys to file CH 7. I spoke with my attorney today and he told me that his fee would be $2,500.

Usually retainers for bankruptcy range from $1000.00 to $3000.00. Like I said before, it depends upon the case. No two cases are alike.

900 + 299 filing. No asset case, married. Mid Missouri.

We also got quoted at $2,000 and $1,500 from two other lawyers. Ours lawyer priced his on a sliding scale based on number and types of creditors, i.e re-affirmations were another $300, 5-10 creditors was less than 10-20 creditors, secured debt may have added to it. It was almost a la carte. ::shrug::
