I am not trying to be snarky, but do you always just sign things w/out reading them?

No Cali - But, I trust my attorney. I figured we would get a copy once he got everything together. By the way, why would you ask that question if you weren't being snarky!!! Oh, i am not being snarky either..LOL

I asked questions I am curious in knowing the answer to. And IMO, it is common sense to always read anything you are signing your name to regardless of trusting your attorney. But then again maybe it is second nature to me since I have dealt with contracts my whole career.
There were a few trusting your attorney people at my 341, and their cases were continued because the trustee didn't believe the paperwork.

Cali - I will defiantely keep a close eye on everything now. I printed up my petition and highlited some things. I already called the paralegal yesterday, because on the Matrix where they list the creditors, it doesn't have all my accounts on it. Like i have say 5 accounts with BOA and she only listed 2 with there account numbers. When I called her she said it didn't matter, cause they will be notified that we filed. Anything that we have with BOA will fall under the BK if its a credit card. What the heck do I do? She is totally right and I am just being particular?

Hi jessegirl: we trusted our attorney also. That was a big mistake, as she turned out to be very incompetent--at least in our case--and made errors that we are paying for now. She gave us no real education in preparing for BK, and 'Hub and I didn't really start learning about it until we found this forum in April. That was after our 341.
