    341 in the AM

Haven't posted until now, but have the 341 in the AM.

A little apprehensive, but ready to get it over with.

Hired a food attorney and everything looks good so far.

LOL we can't find a sitter, so we will bring our 3YO.

Thanks all for the info and vicarious encouragement.

    Best,

    Pragmatist

I wish I had one of those...

Best wishes on a happy 341. It can be boring for a 3 year old... as you could be waiting some time. Make sure you bring supplies!

Welcome, Pragmatist, and good luck today. Be sure to let us know how it goes.

(I didn't post until after my 341...just sucked up all sorts of great advice and wisdom)

I meant to say a "good" attorney

341 went well today. It was actually way easier than I was anticipating. We were in and out once the meeting started in 30 minutes, so 1 hour total including meeting with our attorney pre-meeting.

Trustee asked a few strange questions, but seemed satisfied with the 3 word answers for the most part.

Stuff like "what did you pay for these assets new" (to exempted equipment) which I answered, "I don't know, I have collected it all over 15 years or so..." which he said, so you think you would get the $4500 bucks you listed on the form, which I said "yes".

He asked my wife about a trip she had won and seemed to be disputing the ARV of the prize, and he actually said something very bizarre, but our lawyer responded that "a 1099 was used to determine the value" and he seemed satisfied with that.

              Much easier than I thought.

The law firm had a paralegal there who watched our 3YO which was a godsend. Probably cost WAY more than a sitter, LOL.

Fingers crossed, counting down from here.

Yep--I agree with you--you can consider that you paid for that sitter in full!

Glad to hear that all went well. I have finally gotten my store inventory done and just about moved out of the shop (about two days left) so I will be giving the last of the paperwork to my attorney next week and filing. I hope that all goes smoothly. All of the reports on here seem to be pretty positive. Glad to hear that yours was.

                All the best...

Now that's what I'm talking about. A law firm that truly goes above and beyond!

(Sure, you'll probably be billed for it... but hey... they understand.)
