    Reaffirming mortgages - small lender??

I have two mortgages on my home, both of which I am reaffirming.

The first mortgage is held by a major financial institution. They are aware of the case, filed a simple Notice of Appearance and are in process of sending me Reaffirmation of Loan documents. "Simple."

My second loan is held by a *very* small regional lending institution. They are fairly clueless about this kind of stuff. Is there a form I can get on my own to send them? They don't know which end is up. What should I do?

    Thank you.

So should I send them a letter again about the Reaffirmation? They're clueless.

That's a very good question. You might get an inadvertent "ride-through", which means that you just continue to pay as originally agreed, and they accept your money as if nothing has changed.

I didn't see if you are filing with a lawyer or going pro se, but if you are filing with a lawyer, I'd contact them and get their advice. If you are going pro se, I'd send the "small bank" a letter and see what comes of it.

          Finally closing: ???
