I learn something new today.

I had to do a transfer of liability for the DMV reg on the vehicle I surrendered, even though I don't have it anymore. Gotta love CA LOL

Really?!? I totally believe you, but Geeezz....! Good to know Cali, thanks! I will be surrendering another vehicle.

Do you guys think a stmt will be enough? Do I need a written quote with the estimate we didn't do and why we transferred? (over a year ago because we were broke and the car dead)

Should I amend my file with the -$500 worth of the vehicle?
Or is the statement OK?

Does an amended file reschedule your 341?

BROKENN - I was surprised too. I could understand having to do that if I sold the vehicle but I didn't sell it. The person I spoke to at DMV said if I didn't do the transfer they could in fact keep tacking money onto the original amount until it was paid.
I did it online and it wasn't that hard to do.
