Then you have two options...continue on as you are, consolidate your debts and stop spending and change your lifestyle, buckling down for a few years to pay it all off or call your State Bar Association and ask for a good reference for a reputable attorney in a large city close to where you live. Get another consultation with a better lawyer.

See your family doctor as I believe you suffer from depression and/or anxiety just from viewing your postings. I hope you can work things out with your wife because to get through all you both will have to go through here will take a lot of working together which apparently neither of you have done yet in your marriage. It's obvious you live separate lives. A good marriage counselor can assist there. I'm done with this thread as I don't think there is anything else anyone can state to you to help you out as it is all repetitive and just a waste of time at this point.

None of this has been any help. You people only make it worse.

    Go to hell.
Debtmonster - what you fail to see is that you posted all your information on here about your entire situation. You were given advice and some of it excellent. As I stated previously, no one can physically come there and hold your hand to get things started for you. You are living, and have been living, beyond your means for a long time and you and your wife both do not know how to stop. You have ended up at this point at your own doing. It happens to lots of folks, not just you. But finding excuses to prevent you from taking action is not going to get things done. All you have to do is stop spending totally, see a lawyer and if you have to wait to file, wait to file but stop spending and stop trying to keep things you cannot afford. It is as simple as that. This can all be cleared up in several months time and it won't be easy as you well know. Please also call your family doctor as I mentioned previously who can also help you get through all these troubles you are having. Nothing is worth suicide - hop the next plane to Rio if you feel that bad and just get away. There is help out there for you but YOU have to seek it - get another attorney appointment and see your family doctor. I will not repeat myself on here anymore in trying to get a point accross. We are all adults and can comprehend being told once. Best of luck to you.

    What about the tile floor?

debtmonster - just because you are over median doesn't mean you can't file C7. I was over by 23k, filed and now am discharged. Don't let some of these posts get you down, you really need to figure out what is important to you. And IMO the BMW has to go for something of less upkeep and payment.
$hit!! Then I need YOUR LAWYER! All the lawyers I talk to suck!

I interviewed for a $60k job yesterday. If I get it, all bets will be off we will have a household income over $100k. I haven't had a $60k job since 2001.

Because I don't have the chance to do it. That chance got lost in October of 2005.

I am just going to ignore the bills and any lawsuits. Thank God I have changed my phone # so many times. None of my bill collectors or collection agencies have my new one.

I give up. I'm not going to even fight it anymore. Even if they get a judgment against me, who cares. I won't pay no matter what at this point. They will simply be beating a dead horse.

Please drop the dramatics. If you think killing yourself is the answer to a f***ing BMW, then you are as shallow as your wife.

You asked what you should do, many replies later, you give up WITHOUT TRYING.

I hope a mod locks this thread.

If some here think I am sexist, you could not be more wrong. I have the greatest respect for women and equate most as my equal. Perhaps Mrs. and I are from an older generation, and we are happily married 20 years (her first, my second). My wife has learned from me things that I know and I have been a good student of hers. We do not have arguments any more than any normal marriages do, and we never go to sleep with bad feelings. There has to be a final say if there is no way to compromise. It is called ‘backbone’ and yes, it is Biblical.

I do not remember exercising this vote. It works for us. What irks my gurk is this OP who is attempting to ignore good advice and has been a member here long enough to know that you should not ask a question, and then argue the answer. I do not dislike our host, but there is no way to help he who refuses to help himself.

“Pizza” said it like it is, as several of us pussyfooted around attempting to say the same thing in a “nice” way. Now the OP wants to commit suicide? I’ve seen “Drama Queens/Kings” before, and I have resigned from any further attempts to help this one. He has more problems than M O N E Y. ‘Hub

This is not a temporary problem.
