    Consignment shops

Can i bring used or new clothing to a consignment shop for them to sell for me without worry if that is going to add to my income? I used to sell on ebay but cannot anymore. Some people suggested Craigslist cause they cannot check on that, But what I am selling really doesn't sell to good in my area. Would a consignment work? I am just trying to sell things to pay the attorney so that I can get on with this BK. Thats all the money will be used for.

Any suggestions from you lovely people?

My only advice is not to sell off any potential assets that might be targeted by the Trustee. If you have a small amt. of clothes or small wares to sell, I don't see any harm in that especially if you need the money to pay the atty.

Make sure you keep the receipts just in case so that you can prove where the money went.

You're only concern regarding a consignment shop is that you tell someone like your attorney or trustee that you're selling stuff and they begin to question how much you're recooping.

Be sure to ask the shop for cash, especially if you're selling high-end/designer stuff!

Ok good - I will tell my attorney and even the trustee cause that money is all going to the attorney. I will keep receipts just incase trustee wants to see whats what.
