Thanks for all the good vibes guys. The meeting was pretty uneventful, just like you guys said it would be. Mine lasted maybe 5 minutes. One thing that she did make an announcement about was everyones 2008 tax returns. NO ONE is to spend the money without her approval. If you do they will file criminal charges against the person. The only request the trustee made of me was pictures of my 95 honda prelude that isn't running. I will gladly hand that over to her...PLEASE get it out of my driveway!!

The case that sounded fishy was one about several rental properties and 185,000 is CC debt. She wanted to know what all the money was spent on. They really couldn't say. She wanted statements for the last 2 years!

All in all, things went great and I fill such a relief I could almost do the snoopy dance! I guess I am officialy a 60 day'er!!

Oh, by the way, I used my selective service registration card as proof of SS#. It was accepted. I can't believe I found that card....it's 20 years old!

When you say 2008 tax returns, are you referring to the refunds you would be receiving NEXT year?

Congratulations - glad it was uneventful and quick! Trustee sounds a bit harsh in regard to the 2008 tax returns though! Wow - Criminal charges?

Anyway, glad it went well. Maybe she'll take that old car off your hands - save you the money to have it hauled off!

YEs Laurannm, she is talking aboutthe tax refund you would be receiving in 2009. I guess she is planning on leaving everyones case open until then? She said even though we would be discharged don't make the mistake of spending that tax refund without her permission!

That stinks...we may be in the same boat. Our trustee made a note of what are anticipated tax refund will be for next year, although he didn't specifically say he would be going after it, so I am not sure what his plans are...

I changed my withholdings about a month ago to married with 10, so hopefully I will just about break even on my taxes!
