As mentioned previously, we attempted to go pro se and remove our lawyer. The Court stated we should not as we were too close to the end and it would not do us well at this time. Wellllll Here is another stupid that happened. We have been waiting since February 7 for discharge so I finally called our Case Management worker and she said “Well you have not given us a copy of your marriage license.” I told her we did not know and the Trustee wished it since Mrs. And I use our given names. So, it would have stayed open for eternity waiting on this. P. O.ed ‘Hub

What? Don't I remember you advising somebody at some point to take their marriage license to their 341, since you had to do that? I can't BELIEVE what they have put you guys through! No and in most cases it would not be an issue but when we got married it was my choice to not have the Mrs. take on my name as she was so well know by her maiden name. Exactly due to our rare situation of different sir names, but NOBODY told us we had to file it. We didn't file our SS or DL, and The Trustee looked at the MC and handed it back to us. What a load of crap! I would definitely be up in arms if it were me. We also use our own surnames and were not asked to bring our marriage license to the 341, so I'm hoping this is a non-issue in our district...but if the discharge drags on, I'll know to ask about whether this is the problem, so thanks, 'Hub.

That's insane. I would think the atty or Trustee would have told you about this before now. The Trustee should have asked for it at the 341 or immediately afterwards.
