She sold a couple of items four 2K+ each. That's income. The advice is to wait until those two lump sums drop off the screen or else her income will be perceived to be higher than it really is.
We get a stipend from a trust once a year, and we had to wait 6 months after that to file--that advice per our attorney.
And more to the point, Jessiegirl specifically *asked* Hub to clarify what a insider/preferential payment is, in a follow-up . Hub was kind enough to do so.

Paypal can be associated with your bank acct and there lays the problem. If you used your bank acct to pay ebay fees, there is a problem. If you transferred money from paypal to your bank acct there is another problem.
Excellent advice. I wouldn't have thought of the PayPal account without this thread! I only use it as transferring payments to the business bank account, but in the interest of a complete paper trail and to also show it has a zero balance (I never leave any money in there, I don't trust PayPal), I'll include the PayPal statements, also.
