I have kept current on the vehicle we are keeping, but stopped paying the other one in March. They are both financed by same company. The company filed a motion for relief of stay for the one I am giving up.

Assuming that you exempted the equity in the vehicles, maybe you could sell them and use the money to buy another car? I dont know if you could do this but it would be good to know for you.

Or if you couldnt sell them for cash (because I dont know if its allowed) maybe you could find a used lot that would take them in exchange for paying off the loans and giving you a junker. If the amount you owe on the cars is less than the wholesale value this wouldnt be hard to do.
Not only am I not a lawyer, the California BAR association has sent me numerous letters telling me not to even THINK about going to law school. In fact, the lay advice I provide is not even good. In the end remember, you get what you pay for, and here in BK land were not the best at paying.

Whether or not they can come get the cars if you stay current is a matter of state law. Some state's have laws such that if your current they can't come get them.

I have "MEANSNO", which is good I guess. Just to keep an eye on my attorney, PACER also says "DebtEd". Does "DebtEd" means it is satisfied, or due? Other posts are saying they have the flag "DebtEdDue".

Sorry to sound ignorant, however where are the flags found on Pacer? I don't see any when I check my account and the problem is I don't know if I am looking in the right place.

When you look at the Case Summary, it is listed there as Flags. I think if it's not there, no Flags have been listed. HTH!
