I did it! I file chapter 7 as of 7/22. 341 is 08/18.

I checked my credit report today (7/28) and it already shows I filed for chapter 7. 2 of my creditors, both discover cards, already show account balance of $0 and accounts closed. It also says "Debt included in or discharged through Bankruptcy Chapter 7, 11, or 12".

Do you think since they posted that they are not likely to file an objection?

my current credit score is 690

It is very rare for any unsecured or even secured creditor to file an objection, unless there was fraud involved with your filing.

That's why I was/ am worried about Discover because I rang up about $3000 between the 2 discovers from Nov. up until about feb 08. All luxury purchases of course. I had one of those discover cards since 1991!! We'll see........

wow this is good to know!! i checked my credit score the night i filed, so i can monitor it's changes throughout the bk process. i sure hope my creditors do what yours are doing!
