Got back from our 341, took about 5 minutes, no creditors. The trustee asked about 10 questions which were all yes/no (except for the amount of our 2007 tax refund). We actually had two trustees in the room, my understanding the second one was the US Trustee but she did not ask any questions. The trustee declared us a no asset case and wished us good luck. The trustee didn't ask about our stimulus check, so I'm waiting on the atty to verify if we can go ahead and deposit it (our regular guy wasn't there and his stand in was handling several cases at once).

I am very grateful for this forum and the posts here ... it made it go a lot easier since I knew what to expect.

Oh geez that nothing. I got back 6000!!! How am I gonna explain that one away! I am married and filing individual. My wife and I split the return. She paid off some of her credit cards and I pretty much just lived off mine and kept up with monthly payments.
