I had my 341 this morning. I was so nervous. All they asked was our address correct and our phone number.... then told us that was it "have a good day!" WHAT A RELIEF!! Now we are just waiting for discharge!!!! Thanks for all the support here!!!

That makes me feel better. I'm hearing similar stories re: the 341 meetings. I think with the economy being so bad that the courts are being inundated with filings and maybe aren't paying attention to detail as much as they might otherwise. Perhaps it's a good time for filing.Comment

The day of my 341, they were paying attention to all details. Some filers were asked loads of questions. The trustee asked me the normal questions and we talked about the military.

Not so sure about that....keep in mind that I think Ch 7 trustees get paid a percentage of any proceeds received from the selling of assets. So it's in their best interests to make sure all bases are covered.Originally posted by liz417 View Post

Yeah, we had our's last month, June 18th, and believe me, it was not that easy. It seemed like we were up there forever. We don't own our home and only discharged under $25k, a lot of medical bills, but he had a TON of questions it seemed. We previously filed in 1995 and I was pregnant with our second child at the time, and it seemed the trustee at that hearing was much quicker with the process.Originally posted by laurannm View PostComment
