    Got my Discharge!!...Total cost $90!

    Just wanted to thank everyone who helped out over the last three and a half months. I did it all on my own...filed with the help of an online service...requested and got an exemption from the $299 filing fee as well as the pre-filing debtor eductacion counselling. Had a couple of hiccups which the moderator helped me through (missed the first meeting of creditors...) but despite my screw ups...got the discharge last week. Thanks to everyone who helped out. Couldn't have done it without you!

          May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
          July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
          September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

              I remember reading your post about missing your 341 shortly after I registered here. I bet that seems like light ages ago!! How awesome that you are now discharged!!! Congratulations

                If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.
