Filed today, how long until it shows on Pacer?

My atty. filed this afternoon. I just checked Pacer and nothing so far. How long does it usually take to show up?

I think I read somewhere that Pacer updates one a day, usually at night. But I coul dbe wrong...i would check tomorrow

It also depends on the workload on the clerk doing the posting. As this is a Friday, I would not count on seeing anything posted before Monday at the earliest. Of course I could be wrong.

I think it depends on the day of the week and the court workload. I filed on a Thursday and mine showed up bright and early Monday morning.

If your attorney filed, it "should" show up immediately because all attorneys are required to e-file and typically e-filed cases are immediatly available.

Make sure you are registered in your proper district for PACER.

But, in any event, I would not stress about it just yet. Check again on Monday.

I checked Pacer about 20 minutes after I got off the phone with my attorney and it was already showing. Got my date for the 341 at that time also.

One thing I learned. Search by your name, not your ss #. I was unable to find mine by searching ss#, evidently full ss# isnt listed so you cannont search by it.

Thanks for the replies, just showed up this morning. It was filed on Friday and my 341 is on 8/25. I need to ask my atty. if my trustee is a "friendly" trustee. I have been emailing him (my atty) w/ questiions a few times a week for the last month, so I think I'll give him a break this week and will ask next week. I guess it doen't really make a difference, it is set.
