I asked him what we should bring -- paystubs, tax returns, bank statements -- then I asked if the trustee would freak out b/c we just spent $400 for our trip to TN for our family reunion.
He says to just bring licenses and s.s. cards and not worry about that other stuff. I'm sure that b/c he's telling me to relax and not worry that our meeting will be a nightmare.
The good that we're seeing is that our savings account is growing by leaps and bounds since we decided to surrender the house. Plus, the automatic stay hasn't been lifted yet, so our lawyer says we should be good to stay in the house for a long while yet (we're in MD).
Having a nice savings account balance when this b.s. is all over will help ease the sting a bit. Hopefully, we can keep the momentum up!
Wish us luck for Monday, if you please!
