Finally Filed!

Just got an email from our attorney that we are officially filed for Ch 7. 341 meeting is 8/13/08. Attorney mentioned that the trustee is a very skilled bankruptcy practitioner and a diligent trustee. Not sure yet if that is a good thing or a bad thing

Now the waiting game begins, but we are confident in our attorney and especially prepared with all of the info gathered from the wonderful member sof this board

Yay!!!! I'm happy you got everything filed. Don't worry about that Trustee. As long as you have all of your paperwork together like I know you do, you'll do just fine. Just keep coming here for info and moral support and you'll have that discharge in no time.

We did too - late yesterday I think - was when it went into the computer. Haven't heard when the 341 is yet!


I too appreciate this forum - it helps a lot - great info and more than that - the support of others and just knowing we are not alone!

I turned in my paperwork a week ago and have heard nothing from my lawyer. He did originally say that it would take 2-3 weeks but I think I will call him Monday to check up.

Congratulations- I think that anyone that spends time researching and reading and hanging out on this board before filing should do fine. You're probably an expert yourself at this point! You can check the work and know how it should look and how things should be.
