    Cali, I am so very happy for you! Glad to hear it all went well...wish we could see you in San Diego--wanted to head down there for a summer vaca with the kids before we realized we really needed to spend our summer filing bk and surrendering our home, haha. I say "haha" but honestly, after all is said and done, this will be the SMARTEST summer we ever spent I am floored by the designer gal, good grief, what was she thinking?? !! Well, good for you----congrats on the 60 day club induction!!

        Funny folks wearing that expensive stuff, I got a feeling they'll have trouble.
        May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
        July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
        September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

          Gymbo - My daughter loves her Uggs. I don't have the boots but have the slippers. They are so comfy.

          Uggs last a long time and they are always sold out.

          Martha13 - Filing this summer means next summer you can take that vacation to San Diego.

          JRScott - I thought the designer stuff would have the Trustee saying something, but he didn't. He was more concern about the fact their income wasn't adding up correctly.

            Big Congratulations to you Cali!!!!

            I was just in San Diego for the first time this past weekend, wonderful city! We can't wait to go back again. I can't believe we live about an hour away and we've never gone before. Hubby wanted to show me where they used to pull into port (he was in the Navy).

              I lived 12 yrs in Hollywood and never came to San Diego.

              Living here is wonderful, especially in the city I live at.

                Congrats Cali!! Sounds like all went well and soon it will be over!!!

                Lady with the purse and shoes could have learned something on this forum, too bad for her she didn't research BK a little better.

                  justplaintired - I so agree. I figured after talking to my paralegal that many filers did have expensive things, but I never thought someone would be that dumb to wear it to a 341. Everything about her was designer. She was better dressed than most of the attorneys.
