Today is finally here...

I have my 341 today at 11 PST. I am going to get downtown early because traffic sucks and so does parking.

I have all my paperwork together, ID, SS card and I am ready to face whatever will be waiting for me(UST). I'm not nervous at all, but I do need some coffee. I stayed up way too late last night.

I will hopefully be back on later to post how it went.

You should be just fine. Mine was uneventful, we went over some of the things in my application, revised a few numbers they were asking, and determined I was a no asset case, and were going to close as such.

In and out in 10 minutes!

I left the house a hour early to make sure I could get parking, which still took some time.

Once I got there, went up to the floor the meetings were being held at. The 10 o'clock sessions were running behind.

I met with the attorney that does the 341's only and made sure all paperwork was there and signed.

I decided to go into the room that the meetings were being held to see how everything went. I heard the Trustee yell at someone about their assets. There were 2 that had to come back later this month.

In the 11 o'clock session, I was next to last to go up there. In my group one person was told to come back next month.

The Trustee was funny.

There were so many attorneys that sucked. They didn't have paperwork done properly. One attorney was told by the Trustee that he didn't see how they got the income amount because from what he saw with pay stubs it didn't add up to what was on the schedules. Some pay stubs were missing.

One older lady was there and her attorney wasn't there, so she had to do everything herself. When she was almost finished her attorney showed up.

There was a couple there where the wife, was wearing 450 shoes, had her Louis Vuitton with her(real not fake). She was filing C7 and came to the 341 like that. They were the ones with the messed up income.

When it was my turn to go up, the fill in attorney told the Trustee about my DH being deployed. And the Trustee started talking about the military, I guess he was in once upon a time. He had me state my name, address, asked the normal questions and asked when my hubby would be back. Then he said I was done.

After I heard some of the others up there and their attorneys dropping the bomb by not having their stuff together, I was so happy my attorney did such a great job.

I felt bad for the ones that were missing stuff(except for Miss Louis Vuitton), and the ones having to come back.

A lot of people were letting their homes go.

The Trustee didn't say anything about my high debt(162k) or being over the median. He was pretty cool.

So now I am a 60 day club member!
