    Pacer and Amended Schedule D

If my attorney files an amended schedule D, should I see that in Pacer? If so is it obvious, or do I need to go digging for it? He said he was going to do this, but I don't see any recent filings in Pacer.

Any amendments should show up in PACER. Double check to make sure it was filed. I did an amendment and it showed up within a week.

He still hasnt amended the documents. It has been a month now, and I am really annoyed about this. Does anyone think this is acceptable service? I keep following up but just get feedback that he is busy and will get to it. Not sure if I should attempt to amend it myself, or hire another attorney to do it or what.

I'm completely confused and missing something. Your signature line says you were discharged in March... why are you amending schedule D now? Are you an asset case and you need to get this done to close?

At any rate, this is how it's been from day 1 in my case. My case was nearly dismissed in the very beginning because the lawyer didn't pay the filing fee. We have been teeter-tottering on the edge of dismissal because of his carelessness and incompetence ever since.

You could do what I do to get a call back... call as soon as the office opens. If he's in a meeting, ask what time he'll be out of the meeting. Call back at that time. Call before the office closes at the end of the day. Repeat for several days until the receptionist wants to pull her hair out and then you just *might* get the amendment filed.

I can't believe these clowns are allowed to practice law.

It is to amend my statement of intention for my car which I have now surrendered (original intent was to reaffirm), and also amend my schedule D to show previously unliquidated debt is now liquidated (something like that). Anyway I assume since he told me he was going to do this then it needs to be done and am getting very frustrated it is taking him so long to do it.
