when I google my name, the first entry is porn pictures of a famous porn girl.... which is not me

I'm with ya...Our names are so common that even if they WERE published in the papers, I don't think people would know who we are. Our last name is as common as Smith or Jones.

My middle name is not as common as my first name, but even if you used it I think you'd turn up someone who died in 1987 and not me , after all though its not common it is not uncommon for Scott's to have it .

You and I are sort of in the same boat. If someone Googles my name, they would have to sift through LOTS of bookstore sites, fan sites, and movie sites because my name is the same as a fairly popular author who is fairly popular with a female fanbase. That and I always sign up under things online under an assumed name to keep students from looking me up.
