when does BK show up on credit report??

My BK showed up within a couple of days after filing. It seemed like it was almost immediately.

As for credit checks being performed for employment, I think it should be required, but only for security/law enforcement jobs or jobs that require you handle large amounts of money. I don't understand how checking my credit will enable an employer to ascertain the caliber of employee I would be especially because I don't have a high profile or security based job.

I guess I'm ignorant of how things like this work, but it doesn't make sense. I also don't understand how an insurance company can raise rates based on credit even if you have a perfect driving record.

In today's economy, there should be more understanding when it comes to credit and jobs because there are plenty of people struggling to make ends meet. Too much weight seems to be placed on credit reports. Just my opinion anyway.

And last I checked, "almost all" meant some not all.

I guess you are almost always right then.

"Almost all" implies that it not happening is a rare exception. That is a contradiction to "some".

Perhaps we can have a linguist chime in, but we are better off getting on topic.
