Do you count 60 days from the first 341 meeting or ?

Finally had my 341 on April 23, 2008 and trustee reported NO ASSET on the 2nd of this month. My attorney told me at the conclusion of my final 341 that I should get discharged within couple of weeks. But, its been 30 days and I still have not seen changes from PACER, how long do I have to wait?

BTW: Hi Freshlikeadaisy, thanks for your help from before I really appreciate it.

Yes, 60 days from the 341 if the Trustee didn't ask for a continuance.

    And Freshlikeadaisy is awesome!!

I think if you go to status there is a countdown as well.
Query - Status - Pending Statuses (should see Begin Date & Time in Status)
      Filed: 01/23/08
      341 Meeting: 02/29/08
      Discharged: 04/30/08
      Closed: 05/12/08

Huh, what? I didn't even SAY anything! But thank you just the same!

Trytosavemyself, yeah, it's 60 days from the date of the *first* 341 meeting, if you end up having more than one. You may end up waiting longer than that for the actual discharge -- especially if your district is a busy one -- but once the 60 days are up, if neither the trustee or a creditor has filed any motions or objections, it's all over but the fat lady singing. Good luck!!!
Nolo Press book on filing Chapter 7, there are others too. (I have no affiliation with Nolo Press; just a happy customer.) Best wishes to you!
