I have a stupid question. I listed AT&T / Bellsouth Advertising on my matrix for past business advertising expenses and I received a phone call from them today asking me to pay them for my ex-husband's AT&T / Bellsouth Advertising bill of $650. I told them to contact him and that I filed bk for what my business owed them. I assume he listed my number as a contact when he opened the account. That sneaky so and so.
My question is, if I listed AT&T as a creditor on my Matrix for my business, would I have to pay to file an amendment to add them again for his bill or would listing them once take care of any amount I owe them? If that is the case, why are they calling me now since I'm filing personal bk not in the name of my business?
Does the discharge cover me against any amounts owed to the creditor, or do I have to specifically list this debt?
This is a dumb question, but I just want to be sure. I don't want to make a $650 mistake.
P.S. I have my home phone with AT&T and if they ask for a giant deposit, I'm switching to another carrier.
