From the limited information you gave, I would *guess* that the number of your household, as far as your bk filing goes, would be you, your wife, and any children you may have. The in-laws (again, this is a guess) would be "roommates" in this sense, and only the amount they actually contribute to the common household would be included as income on your means test and Schedule I; on Schedule J you'd also add the bills/expenses they pay directly, so it evens out.
But you really need to clarify how it all works in your household before anyone can tell you with any degree of certainty.
