This is a nightmare!

Oh wow, I wish I would of known about this before we sent over nighted for this info, downloading it would of been so much easier. As it is they are charging us $70.00 plus $25.00 to have it Fed Ex'd back. We already spend $19.80 to overnight to them. Thanks so much for telling me about it though, it makes me mad at myself I didn't think to ask this earlier today. Did it cost your mom about $70.00 to do it through PACER??? I went on the web sight but couldn't tell how much it would cost.

I'm not sure about her. Ours was .08 cents per page but I think it was only 1.00 or so for the entire petition. Unfortunately I am a bit obsessive and ran up a 70.00 bill, so be careful with that. ;-)

PACER is 8 cents a page.

However if you do not spend 10 dollars in a quarter then its free. If you are not careful you can run up a big bill though .

After going over the lien paper work I really am confused. Why would my mortgage company file a lien again my husband, me and another mortgage company. I am so confused. Until we get our orgianl paper work I guess it will be that way. I know we listed our mortgage in it entirity on the BK. We gave them our payment books and everything. So these two mortgage companies and really confusing me. We never took out a second mortgage.

Just wanted to thank everyone that helped me. We went to see a lawyer today and he said that the mortgage cmpany was in the wrong to file this lien in the first place. They went against the stay laws of the bankruptcy. So he is contacting the lawyer of the mortgage cmopany and going to have them get it realeased or whatever it is they do. Anyway I feel so much better and hopeful.
