42 days down...who has had something happen this late?

OK, day 42 has come and gone....the UST asked for updated paychecks around day 31 and I have heard nothing..

Here is my question...has anyone / does anyone know of anything going wrong this late into the game?

There was nothing filed post 341 except the notice of no asset the day after...

Anyone out there have problems after 40 plus days?
    Filed 2/15/08
    341 held 3/18/08
    Notice of no asset 3/19/08
UST requesting my paystubs post 341? 4/21/08

I'm at day 54. Filed two amendments and sent my tax forms in...haven't heard anything.

But, your post brings up a good point. The general consensus has been to wait until after the 341 to take on another job or increase income.

With the trustee asking you for your pay stubs it may be better advice that folks wait until their case is closed before going out and getting a part-time job or getting a new job altogether.

There is someone else on this Forum here that the Trustee has asked for bank statements etc. That is just unlucky. I would of have been in BIG TROUBLE had the Trustee asked for mine during my conversion from 13 to 7. Thats for sure, all you can do is comply!

Oh! Oh! Oh! Pick me! Pick me! Yes, the day before the discharge date, the U S Trustee requested a sixty day extension, even though an "all's clear" order (or what I perceived to be an "all's clear order) had been previously posted. Came as quite an unexpected surprise. It eventually led to a rule 2004 examination. And we were eventually discharged on April 14th. Filed November 2nd, and had 341 on December 11th. You can to a search of my posts to read all about it. I don't post this to scare you or make you nervous, but only to make you aware that, yes, things do happen in the eleventh hour. I filed pro se.

On my 59th day the US Trustee filed a motion to extend the discharge 60 more days. That probably was because the audit on my case wasn't finished yet though. But I had to wait an extra 60 days and be grilled by the UST b/c there was a material mistatement in my petition due to a clerical errror. Oh it was a nightmare but it's all over now - thank goodness!
11/14/07 -filed C7 12/04/07 -case pulled for random audit.12/18/07 -341 held: Asset case due to engagement ring & tax return.02/19/08 - US trustee files motion to extend. 04/02/08- changed back to NO ASSET! I get my ring back and get to keep my tax return! :clapping: 04/28/08 -DISCHARGED!!! :yahoo::yahoo: 05/07/08 - CLOSED!!!
