Does anybody know if it is usual for JcPenney's to file a Request for Notice? I checked PACER just now and was surprised to see this had been file.
Thanks!
I charged $80 in January and I made a $100 gift card purchase in December. Could the gift card be the problem? I have absolutely no large purchases and I think the balance, at $1300, is relatively low.
Don't worry...they just want to be informed of any $ they could possible be receiving. Just means that any paperwork filed by the UST or your attorney will have a copy going to them, as well.

Yep, AMEX did the same in my case. All correspondence to a lawfirm in Pa. Doesn't mean anything. Just the way they handle bk's. Nobody is worried about a $100 gift card.
