    Self Filing & Auto Debt

I am going to have to file ch 7 myself because I just can't afford an attorney. THe one that I was going to get had told me he can get the car payment down of the car I am keeping by having the lender refigure the loan based on how much it's worth instead of how much I owe or something like this.

Since I am filing on my own, how can I accomplish this? Will the lender do this if I talk to them?

Thank you for any quick responses.

Also, I have a car repo'd and a house foreclosed on, do i need to file any additional forms or paperwork if i am filing myself?

    Thanks

List both of these debts on your schedules, and calculate in any deficiencies related to them as well. Are you buying a DIY BK program? You can also seek the assistance of an experienced BK paralegal. They're a lot cheaper than attorneys!

      Good Luck!

i'm not buying a kit, i have all the paperwork and actually went through it with an attorney last year when i was going to file in ohio but i moved back to indiana and never went through with it in ohio. i will see if there is a paralegal here in my area though.

        thanks.
