Thank you for your advise. I am going to type all my thought on WORD tonight and make sure I have all my ducks in a row. I left my "attorney" two messages today to get back with me ASAP as I need to try and get this house rented that I am looking at. You'll never believe this, he never called back. I will give him till Tuesday to get something done or he is getting fired. I have done some reading on Chap 13 from the sites that lrprn listed. I really think that listing my second child (putting me under the means) will help a ton! I have also learned that in Ohio (how I read it) if I'm giving up my home, I cant use the payment as an expense. So renting this house would not only help with lowering my payments, I can use it as an expense. I still dont quite understand how the figures for payments are aquired? Is it a percent of all the debit combined or just what kind of "extra" cash you have. I'm curious as I don't believe I will show any left over cash a month.....

Hey lost, I just read the thread, sorry to hear about all of this. You've gotten some good advice here, not much else I can add at this point.
Just out of curiousity, what Ford vehicle costs twice $485 a month? I didn't think the sold stuff that expensive (aside from the Ford GT).Filed Ch 7: 12/27/07

I'd give my left index and pinky for one of those. What was it, a nearly $0 down financing?
Good luck with everything though.

I say you need to dump the luxury car, deal with the consequenses and move on. I'm sorry you are going through such a rough time. I know if seems really bad right now. But believe me, things do get better!!!!!!!!!!!! But only if you bite the bullet and make the right decisions.
I also think you need to get some second legal opinions. Any attorney who would tell their client to purposely get into your situation with the car is highly questionable. I'm very much in favor of BK planning, but that is just way out the box!!!!
Good luck.Chapter 7 Pro Se....Discharged Feb. 2006
