    Relief from stay hearing

So, this hearing is in 2 days...should I expect anything?

We have been declared "no asset" by the trustee and just awaiting discharge. Just wondering what happens after the hearing. How long until they "officially" foreclose?

First the mortgage company has to get this "relief from stay hearing" approved before they can continue with their foreclosure. Foreclosure can take from 30 days to 18 months depending on your state laws. No proceedings can take place till they get the relief of stay from the Court.

Your attorney should be able to tell you approx how long you have before you have to surrender assets or move out of a home your surrendering.

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
