For sure it will mess up his credit if, he doesn't continue to make payments. He's on the hook for any deficency balance should the car be repo'ed.

Your trustee filed a no-asset report and asked to be relieved of his/her duties - you have nothing to worry about at this point.

The bk courts and trustees are overwhelmed at the moment with an increasing number of filings due to the crappy economy. You are only 3 days past your 60 - you are going to have to be patient. If you filed with a lawyer, call and ask how long other Ch 7 clients have been waiting recently for discharge. If you filed pro se (without a lawyer), then call the court clerk and politely inquire when you might expect your discharge to be posted.

The waiting is agonizing but in this case you can do little to control it. Try to find something to do to help the time pass more quickly and wait it out.

And a tip for the future - in this case the reason you didn't get a response until now is because your posted information is very hard to read. The easier to read you can make postings like this, the more responses you'll get. Next time use the Enter key to put in spaces appropriately - that will help. Thanks!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

          06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
          06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
          07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
          09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
          08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

          10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

I stopped paying on my SUV in March and filed in June.

The SUV is still here and I still drive it.
