Hello, This forum is wonderful by the way - thank you everyone for contributing.
I filed for Chpt 7 in January. My 341 is March 12. I had been full-time up until October 2007 and went part-time because of a location change. I have been applying for jobs since December and have been accepted for a full-time position. The new job will not change my situation drastically, as last year I was below the median for a one-income earner and the part-time was temporary, so I will be making about the same amount as last year.
Anyway...I asked a few people and they said that a pay increase only needs to be reported to the trustee if it is a chpt 13 and with a chapter 7 they only care about what was going on when I filed.
I should receive my first full-time paycheck a week after my 341 meeting - so there won't be any proof of higher income. Will the trustee or the BK court monitor my accounts after the meeting and see I got an increase?
And should I tell them about the increase?
Ugh! Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
