It was a piece of cake. He basically confirmed the house and the bank accounts we had and that was about it. Took less than 5 minutes. Naturally, I am an idiot and forgot my driver's license since I can't drive anywhere right now I never take my wallet. Out attorney let the Trustee know that he would just fax him a copy and we dropped off a copy of the license to the attorney a little later and so it's all taken care of. Trustee told us he would close out the case as no asset, so I guess we just have to wait for discharge! Attorney said it would only take 30-45 days or so, I guess things move faster in MA.
We still haven't vacated the property even though we are surrendering. The mortgage company hasn't filed for a relief of stay at all so, the attorney said he thinks we could have as much as 4 more months. We will probably stay until the end of April (with the broken leg, it will be really hard for me to help pack/move).
Phew. I'm so happy it's almost over!
ETA: We didn't need to provide bank statements at all.
