Yep. No worries. No big deal.
You can amend any of your papers at any time before the discharge is issued. Sometimes amendments to your Schedule C (exemptions) before the discharge, but after the timeframe for creditors objections, can have problems. However, you just filed, so you can asbolutely amend it and it won't be any big deal. Furthermore, not having listed the payments hurts you rather than helps you, so no one would have a reason that I can see to be upset about it.
Make sure to look over everything else, even if it takes a day to get a fresh mind on it, before you amend. Although you can amend multiple times, if you do, it starts looking a little suspicious. Like, make sure they are listed on Schedule D if they are a secured creditor (most likely for a car payment), or Schedule F if they are unsecured (unlikely.) Also make sure they are listed on Schedule G (Executory Contracts and Unexpired Leases), and Form B 8 (Chapter 7 Individual Debtor's Statement of Intention.)
There probably won't even be a fee to amend your petition, if you're only amending the Schedule J.Last edited by phoenyx; 02-20-2008, 04:49 PM.Filed: 03/31/08 341: 05/15/08 Discharge: 07/15/08
Do yourself a favor. Check everything I say with a bankruptcy attorney. Most attorneys will even provide a free initial consultation. In fact, it's your life, so check everything anyone says (including your attorney) for yourself!
