we broke a lease this fall, because #1 we could not afford it, and #2, he wasn't making any repairs on the house. we had one working toilet out of two and one working sink, the other stayed stopped up all the time. no insulation in the attic, so electric bills were $700 a month, for a one story home.
basically, he screwed us, and with the HUGE bills to the plumber and the electric we couldn't afford it and moved....after multiple emails to him about the problem. he is a lawyer and wan't to finagle every repair and try to negotiate prices, like replacing the toilet, he wanted me to pay over half and we had been there less than 90 days, and it was broken becaus eit was old and he had never replaced it.
long story short, he should have been served this week, with the notice of 341. he is in the bankruptcy.
well i get an email this evening that states the following.:
Sorry things ended as they did; hope your husband is doing better (if he was ever actually sick).husband had three surgeries in october, all emergency. he knew that because we told him, yet he acts as if it never happened.
I have some questions, and would appreciate if you could answer them.
1. Where are the keys? keys were left in the mailbox when we moved out in october
2. What are the stains in the carpet? Especially in the gameroom? I'm having them cleaned, and it would sure help for the cleaning guy to know what he's trying to get out.(stains were there when we moved in, we had the carpet deep cleaned and they surfaced after it dried.
3. You didn't have any insulation blown into the attic, it appears. So what were the electric bills actually running?(we did not have it blown in because it was his responsibility, and in texas he has to have at least 1/2-1" in the attic to even rent the place.
4. I had the water turned back on, and it seemed to work just fine. What, if any, problems with the water were you actually having?(problems were nt with the water, it was with the plumbing, and he knows that)
5. What else should I know, but don't even know to ask about?
6. Are you okay? I mean this sincerely...not asking "what the hell is wrong with you?!" But I would like to know, why all the deception?there was none on our part, it was on his
