Please wish us luck! Lord knows we will need it. We are pro se...fisrt off, and we have hit a few speed bumps already. After tomorrow, our safety net is gone, and we will be waiting impatiently for whatever may come next!! Oh, did I mention that Trustees frighten me!!!

Don't worry. We all think it's more that it is before we go. I don't know if it is like this everywhere, but my meeting was in a pretty small room and I had about 4 or 5 people go before me. Once I saw the process I knew that it would be a pice of cake. Just answer whatever questions they ask truthfully, and you'll be fine.My credit scores:
Before Filing: Tr 496, Ex 496, Eq 507
Today: Tr 618 (+122), Ex 601 (+105), Eq 623 (+116)

I cant explain how easy this was, and how releived my husband and I were when it was over! We were the first case called (go figure), but we were out of there after we verified our name, address, phone number and answered if we had read over the paperwork they sent us. The ONLY thing the Trustee questioned of us was a check clearing the day we filed, which happened to be our rent check, so he said "ok, you are free to leave." All that worry for nothing! Thanks for all of the support!!

OKAY NEWBIES........... CAUTION..........
It's great that your 341's go real smooth, BUT REMEMBER, you still have the 60 day waiting period for creditors to object..... and sometimes one does for one reason or another....
So sit back, be patient, and don't be "cheering" till your discharged.......
Its a really hard blow to think it's over and then have problems come up before discharge...............
Just a word of caution................Minny
"It's amazing the paths that our feet sometimes follow in life".
My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

I am not stating that I am not afraid of whats to come. I did have a nice long chat with the attorney for the US Trustee today, and he was VERY nice, and respectful. He is the one looking over all of our paperwork and analyizing everything, and was vert supportive of us. He told us that we may be converted to 13, but after looking over everything, should be able to convince the Trustee to keep us as 7 for our "special circumstances". I am terrified of the dark waters ahead, however, I am glad that the 341 is over, and we are on our way!!!
