    Sec 521 Compliance or Dismiss?

    I recently filed ch.7

I looked in pacer and saw this question on my list of events?
    Sec 521 Compliance or Dismiss?

I also notced it (pacer) said not enough information had been recieved by the clerk at this time to determine if there was a presumtion of abuse.

are these common terms for the forms to contain?

    I am hoping standard stuff.

I dont know why I am obssesing over this as I have Nothing left to my name but I just want the nightmare to be over...

Thanks for your help. I love this board. It has got me through a lot of tough nights!

I filed in Fla. and my 341 is in March if that helps

Defender, I have a feeling that 521 compliance has to do with your credit counseling. Did you do your pre-filing credit counseling? Have you completed your post-filing debt education course? When you file your case, that DebtEdDue flag is applied automatically by the system and stays there until you file your certificate and the accompanying Form 23.

Honestly, I haven't ever even been in the list of events on PACER; I find I have everything I need on the docket. If your docket has the DebtEdDue flag, I bet that's what that 521 compliance thing is about. If it's not, and there really is more to this, you should see associated filings and notations on the docket that will give you more info. Good luck!!!

P.S. I filed Middle District of Florida as well and everyone has been very good to me so far, especially the clerks. I wish you the best!!!
Nolo Press book on filing Chapter 7, there are others too. (I have no affiliation with Nolo Press; just a happy customer.) Best wishes to you!
