I found some Traveler's Checks I had put away for my next vacation. It did not cover the whole amount I owed the attorney but that plus cutting back on food and everything else, we were able to pay the attorney. Tax refund here also, we needed $1325 for attorney and filing fees. Our refund was $1388. Should be filing C7 within a week or two, after many sleepless nights, finally we see a light at the end of the tunnel. Debt free, living within our means again, crossing our fingers everything goes smoothly!Filed Chapter 7 June 4 ~ 341 July 20 ~Last day of objections Sept 18~Discharged/Closed Sept 21

I am not paying on my cc's and I am "skipping" a month on my car payment - costs $25 to do it but it'll get me the money I need so I can file sooner. I want to get it filed and over with!
I was considering pro se also but decided this was too important and I didn't want to risk it.Filed C7: 3/21/08
