Anyone filed in West Michigan (GR area)?

I've seen a couple of screen names/locations that seem to be in our area.

I know all cases are different, just wondering what people's 341 meetings were like here in W. Michigan.

I am in the eastern district but in my area, it was pretty laid back.

I just had ours yesterday in West Mich. It was very easy, very straight forward. No surprises. The trustee even joked around a little bit with us. Only annoying thing is they were over an hour late. Sucks when you have a 2 1/2 year old to keep quiet and happy.

There were people before us that had a rough time. Either the lawyer not submitting documents or people not being forthcoming with information. Even in those cases, the trustee was nice and understanding about everything. In the 6 cases we watched, no creditors showed up.

Ours was in W. MI, and really quite painless. Took less than 10 minutes. He asked us if we intended to keep our home (yes), knew of any upcoming inheritences/windfalls (no) or if either of us knew of any upcoming significant raises at our jobs (no). Aside from that, he just asked us to state & spell our names, give our SSN, etc....really not too big of a deal.
