Why...are you trying to hide something ?

But to answer your question, NO...they do not pull your credit report.

Yes, they can and do. I just had to sign a release for my trustee to pull my credit bureau (among other things), I had to give him a copy of it up front, and I have also seen websites hawking financial "products" for trustees where they just put your SSN in and pretty much get everything. Judges, no. Courts, no. Trustees, oh hell yeah.
Nolo Press book on filing Chapter 7, there are others too. (I have no affiliation with Nolo Press; just a happy customer.) Best wishes to you!

It is funny when I filed before I already had my report out in hand, and gave to lawyer/trustee showing all CC# so they don't miss any accounts out by accident. But now I think he might think of me like.... "Gee, this guy is so honest!"... no wonder my case went so smoothly.

I guess we should have clarified, they DO NOT pull it behind your back. But they can request a copy from you or make you authorize the release of the credit report.

Yes, the release I signed for this trustee made it clear that I was giving up my rights to financial privacy under [whatever law] and specifically authorized him to obtain any and all financial information. It was detailed, but in essence a blanket release: "without restriction" was one of the phrases used. Yet many trustees only want a tax return or two. Go figure.

We also had to supply ours to our attorney prior to the 341, I did it anyways to make sure nothing was missed.

My attorney pulled mine before he finished the paperwork so he didn't miss anything. I'm glad he did that, he filled out everything.
