    What do these flags mean?

    I have 2 flags on my PACER account as of today. One is FinMgmtDue and the other is MEANSNO. What do these mean to me? I ofund that FinMgmtDue means my credit counseling certificate is due- we completed that on time with no problem- my lawyer should have that. But what does the other mean?

    Thanks,
    Crystal

    Filed Ch. 7 11/25/07
    341 meeting 1/14/08

    Sorry guys- I did a search and found the answers to my question. I am just so paranoid that something will go wrong with this- everything is making me paranoid!!!!

      MEANSNO means that with the initial review of your case, the trustee believes that there is "no suspected abuse present"

      MEANSNO = good sign

        I'm sure you did your pre-filing credit counseling; you should see that in PACER because your attorney would have filed that with your original petition. (In my district they actually separate it out and it is a distinct entry on the docket report. Yours will probably be the same.) However, you still have post-filing debt education to complete within 45 days of your 341 meeting, and that certificate is also filed, along with the corresponding form (Form 23 if I remember correctly). You have an attorney so chances are good it will be handled through his office. "FinMgmt" is referring to that post-filing credit counseling, also known as debt education.

          Gotcha- we have not done the post- counseling or the test yet. But I should have 45 days from Jan 14th right? I wanted to get thru Christmas before we did it.

          Also- Countrywide has filed a Notice of Appearance. Does this mean they are coming to my 341?

          Thanks,
          Crystal

            If that's the day of your 341, yes.

            Me, I did it the first business day after I filed. But that's just me. I'm paranoid that way.
