PACER Questions - Request for Service of Notices

Found two of these filed and entered in PACER when I checked this morning - one dated 11/29 and another dated 12/12 (yesterday). This was my first time checking PACER and my 341 is today at 12:30.

I opened them and found this:

    11/29 entry
Full docket text for document 10:
Request for Service of Notices. American Express Travel Related Svcs Co Inc Corp Card, POB 3001 Malvern PA 19355-0701 (Weisman, Gilbert)

    12/12 entry
Full docket text for document 11:
Request for Service of Notices. eCAST Settlement Corporation, POB 35480 Newark NJ 07193-5480 (Weisman, Gilbert)

Also, the top of my PACER doc said this:

    XX-XXXXX NAME
    Case type:
bk Chapter: 7 Asset: No Vol: v Judge: NAME
Date filed: 11/13/2007 Date of last filing: 12/12/2007

I noticed after "Asset" it says "No" so does that mean they've already concluded I'm a no asset case?

    Thanks!
    11/13/07 - Filed Chapter 7
    12/13/07 - 341 Meeting
    02/12/08 - Discharged
    02/15/08 - Case closed

Yes it means your a "no-asset" case......

Request for Service of Notice is the creditors requesting copies of all documents regarding your case filed by the Trustee.... such as Motions, etc.....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Minny, would you happen to know if that is limited to items filed with the court (i.e. everything you'd see on PACER) or can a creditor also request/receive non-public items such as the post-341 Trustee's Report? I already know they receive the Statement of SSN, for example; I'm referring specifically to non-filed items.

Creditors can only see what anyone else sees on PACER (with the exception of tax returns, if I recall, creditors can request copies of tax returns). So no, the creditors do not see the trustee's report, etc.
