    Creditor Objection question

    Hello All,

Had a question about creditor objections. From what I've read, it sounds like they are pretty rare.

I had a couple of charges on my Citi card before I filed (and knew about this forum). One was 60 days before I filed for $375 and I had another one for $299 about 49 days before. Then no other charges at all. I also made my normal monthly payments after these charges. In fact I didn't have any missed or late charges ever on this account.

My attorney said to worry about them, but I thought I would see what you all think. I know these charges are below the $500 luxury level, but do you think they will raise a red flag anyway?

    Thanks!

    Doubt they'll cause any problems.

      I can't see them objecting.
      Filed: 10/26/2006
      Discharged: 03/05/2007
Closed: 5/19/2008 - Asset case due to balance transfer and income tax refund

Thanks for the input. I have my 341 coming up on Wednesday and I think I'm stressing out unnecessarily about everything! I'm sure I'll feel better once I get through that.

Join the club! Our 341 is next week, too, and I'm starting to stress.
I think YOU have nothing to stress about, those charges are too small for them to pay an attorney to deal with. In fact I wish I'd have gone out and bought some clothes before filing, but I didn't!

More worrisome are $20k in cash advances (balance transfers) we took out 11 months ago. Everyone says not to worry but then why was my attorney so concerned that he wanted me to wait until Dec. to file? (I pushed it up to November, anyway for other concerns.)

So... all I can say is "Good luck to us both! May there be NO OBJECTIONS!" And that goes for any of all of us here!!!

FINALLY DISCHARGED 92 DAYS AFTER THE 341! A NEW START!!!
