I wasn't expecting to see this until around Xmas but I checked PACER this morning since the last day for creditors to file objections was Dec 3. I was just looking to see if anyone filed objections. I checked the last filing date and saw it read CLOSED so I brought up my status nad read DISCHARGED and CLOSED

Thanks everyone, it is such a relief to know we are done. Hubby had no idea what it meant when I said we were discharged and closed. So I had to explain it to him. And, the trustee must not be going after our refund since we are closed. But hubby had a child support case established this year that he was automatically 6 months behind because the order was retroactive. We told the trustee about it, and provided him a copy of the tax offset notification letter which is probably why he went ahead and closed. The past due child support would have to be paid in full first. So not worth the trustee's time when the tax refund should be just a tiny bit more than what he still owes in past support. We plan carefully so we don't get big refunds anyways.
