Time frame and waiting to file time questio

I have been reading alot of post and alot of people are talking about waiting for a certain time frame to file the 7. Should you file before your months late on stuff or should you file before it gets way out of hand?

Late is late no matter how you slice it. If you don't have any crazy transactions recently and you have the money for a lawyer go ahead and file.

If you want some input from the board here you probably should explain what you mean a little better.

Depends on what you've been charging.

If you've been buying gasoline and groceries for months. Using Balance Transfer Checks to rob Peter and pay Paul. That's one thing.

If you recently took a vacation, bought furs or jewelry, extravagent expenses,......... That's a whole different ball game.

If you don't at least wait out the 70/90 day time frame, you might be fair game for a Creditor Objection

It's really gonna depend on if you spent the money on necessities or frills.

Generally speaking,.......... The more time you can put between last charges and cash advances the better.

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.
