I hate pushy lawyers, seems like they aren't interested in your case. Maybe she is just extra busy and doesn't have time to be personable but I would want someone who will make time to answer my questions. Especially since your the one paying their paycheck. Hope the next 2 go better.

My first question, especially with your situation, is 'How many Chapter 11 bankruptcy did you file last year??' Second question would be 'What is the ratio of business 7's you do to non-business 7's??' The attorney you go with should do at 75% business and 11's rather than non-business filings.

Southernbelle, you are most likely going to have to go with a firm that does business bankruptcies. Look for a corporate attorney not the single person typical bk attorney.

Since this consultations are "free", I think your expectation might be a little high

My advice would be to go to a business bankruptcy attorney or file on your own. If I had to do it over again, I would do it on my own. As long as you can learn everything there is know, read cases, etc and have a lot of time. you would be better than any attorney. There are a lot of rules and gotchas so you really need to know what your doing. My thinking is that the attorneys make their money on the run-of-the-mill bankruptcy cases and are not too interested or have much experiences with a more complicated case, hence the reason they urge for a chapter 13... my two cents.
